This is a special place. Only accessible by boat and apparently in the middle of nowhere we had imagined many things could go wrong - but nothing did, the house is wonderful and Amber and Julio are very warm and hospitable hosts. You can sit for hours simply taking in the changing view and seascape. And there’s plenty to do on the water with the canoes etc provided, plus charming beaches a short boat ride away.

Exceptional house in an exceptional place, filled with corals at our feet, rays, barracudas and other fish of all kinds. The house is even more incredible than in the photos, nothing to complain about, everything was perfect with a great breakfast. Possibility of having food delivered by boat. Very welcoming and accommodating hosts. We will come back with great pleasure.

We stayed here for the second half of our honeymoon trip in Panama. Amber is an exceptional host and the house is amazing. Extremely well built and very beautiful. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed paddle boarding and snorkeling each day. The breakfast was delicious and served each morning on the patio with a view of the water and mountains. I hope we can return for another visit and explore more of Bocas Del Toro. A few notes for visitors: - Panama is a very warm and humid place. If your from a colder climate (like us) just know its warm especially in the afternoons. We slept fine using the provided fans. - If you plan to relax at the bnb for a few days without leaving make sure you grab groceries in Bocas Town before arriving. - The host will recommend a water taxi service for you while you are there. He is awesome and was available seemingly whenever we needed him. 5 stars!

The accommodation is even better than the pictures show. I visited with my wife and two sons aged 9 and 14 and we couldn't have picked a better location (and I scouted every single overwater home in the area). What sets this house apart from all the other overwater homes (which is an incredible experience in itself) is the ingenuity that went into the design of the place. My wife is an architect and she was also very impressed. Also, the bedrooms are on the first floor so from the living room and bedrooms you have a full and private view of the water. Rays, crabs, barracudas (small ones), swim and crawl around regularly, while lobsters, larger rays and all sorts of colourful fish are in the area.
Check out the other reviews for all the other things to do. The bedrooms have ceiling fans and there are three additional floor fans to use when there is no wind. This is an eco-friendly lodge, so adjust your expectations accordingly. No air conditioning, no TV, limited internet speeds, but the best lodge and location you could wish for.

Another host and another 6 star accommodation. The coral is literally right off the deck! The complimentary kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling gear allowed my family to maximize the beauty and awesomeness of the location.
Our hosts provided a fresh breakfast every morning and answered all of our questions. Marco was practically our personal water driver around the island. What an incredible part of the world! We are so glad we booked this accommodation! WoW

My wife and I stayed here with our two children (16 and 12) and had an amazing time. The pictures on the website enticed us to book and they delivered. It is just a beautiful and peaceful place. If you are a snorkeler like us, you have a coral reef right outside your door that the whole family has enjoyed on numerous occasions, as well as kayaks and SUPs. Amber and Julio communicated with us in advance to help us get there, coordinated all of our boat rides with Marco for when we arrived, when we wanted to go into town for dinner, or if we wanted to go to Starfish Beach and enjoy fresh lobster (literally straight from the ocean) or other local foods for lunch. They also coordinated tours of Monkey Island/Zapatillas Island and a night tour/snorkeling with the bioluminescent/phyto plankton zoo, both highly recommended. We were also able to enjoy the bioluminescent plankton right around the Villa It's a bit out of the way, but worth it!

Our stay here was fantastic. Our hosts were the best we have ever had, they were so kind and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and yummy every morning. They helped us arrange private tours to wherever you want to go (we highly recommend doing the private tour with a boat full of people! It was unreal) and all our water taxis with Marco (he is the best). The place itself is beautiful, clean and comfortable. They provide snorkeling masks, towels, kayaks, paddle boards and games. The glass floor is amazing, you can see so many fish. We sat on the floor and watched this fish hunt for hours, it was so impressive.

Our stay at Bahia Coral was amazing! The airbnb itself is in such a scenic location with so much seating to enjoy the water views. Snorkeling and use of the kayak were provided which was really great. The amount of different fish and coral we could see right outside the house was incredible, as well as through the glass floor in the living room. Our hosts were also very communicative and helpful in arranging water taxis to and from different places we wanted to visit. The morning breakfasts provided were also a great way to start the morning before our next adventure. As others and hosts have said, it's a good idea to have some groceries in town on hand if needed. We ate out for dinner about 3 days of our stay and stayed and cooked the remaining days which provided a nice variety of outings and exploring the city, as well as staying and watching the sunset on the front patio. I highly recommend staying here and would love to return!

Stay here!!! This is the most beautiful place. It looks exactly like the pictures and the attention to detail is unmatched. The hosts were so kind and quick with communication. They met us at the dock and offered us each a welcome drink. Breakfast was delicious each morning with eggs, bread, fruit salad, fresh juice, and coffee. The airbnb is located on a less crowded part of the water so it was pretty quiet while we enjoyed snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle boarding. We even saw a few stingrays! If you are looking for an oasis in Bocas, this is it. I can't recommend it enough.

The overwater villa is amazing. We felt like we were in paradise. It is one of the most beautiful places ever. It looks exactly like the pictures and is furnished with so much love. This Airbnb… the views, the ambiance, the serenity and the room it offers. Everything is as pictured and even better in person. The hosts were very hospitable, kind, accommodating and thorough. They were even kind enough to offer a welcome drink upon arrival. The only thing to be aware of is that it is about a 10-15 minute water taxi ride to Boca town but that is not a problem as they will easily provide you with a contact for a water taxi. The Wi-Fi works great. The place was spotless and everything we needed was within reach. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay!

Wow!! Stay here!!! This place is BEAUTIFUL. The views are breathtaking, the house itself is beautiful, the corals and fish right off the terrace were amazing. With the snorkeling gear, kayaks and paddle boards, we happily stayed at the Airbnb the entire time. The hosts were great. They were both very welcoming and warm. We went during the rainy season and it was still amazing!! Luckily at night the sky was not cloudy so we could see the stars... so beautiful ♥️ The only tricky part of the stay was getting to the house. You can only get there by boat. So it was a unique situation that we had never experienced before. But we messaged the hosts about a million times with a million questions and they helped us very quickly and happily with all of it. We ended up doing the private transfer they had set up (super easy!) so we had a direct ride. We were both so in love with this property - we wish we could have stayed longer. Next time!!
